Can you believe it: we were BACK AT THE SHEPARD GARDEN AND ART CENTER!!!!
To make it even better, we had our annual Mini-Workshops. It is always such a lively gathering. We can sit together, work together, visit together and learn a new craft at the same time. Thanks to our teachers who made it all happen....and to Sandy S for pulling it all together. We had Sharlet teaching inkle weaving and there were lots of colorful results:
Linda taught us rope making: a LOT of interesting things you can do with that. She also helped us turn our handwoven goods into something useful: a pillow, a purse, you name it.

Robin taught a very interesting class on triaxial weaving; you could tell this one took a lot of concentration. Jude taught origami boxes and Judy taught basketry. Look at all of us diligently working away:
So we all had a great day and had projects started or completed to take home as an additional reward. The day had a really sweet ending when Robin told us she had 2 of her little sheep in the van - and we all got to ooh and aah about how darned cute they are:

Thanks to all for putting this annual favorite fabulous day together. Thanks for all who came and made the day enjoyable. We have a great guild with lots and lots of things going on. Come join in the fun!
