MUSHROOMS, MISTLETOE AND ONION SKINS………..to dye for!!
The Placer County Fiber Group met this month and we all had a wonderful, dare I say, colorful time as their speaker, Elizabeth Standeven took us through the process of dying with mushrooms, mistletoe and onion skins. Elizabeth gave us such a great day with demonstrations and stories of her "mushrooming" trip to Mexico. We all learned so much. PAPER or PLASTIC……?
A new year is coming and it's always fun to try something different. I thought I'd share a couple of projects some of us have tried using alternate materials. The first ones are the fantastic paper weavings Langdon wove using high quality wrapping paper. paper used for weft Langdon cut the paper into 3/4 " strips using a ruler and rotary cutter. CHRISTMAS FUN WITH OUR PLACER COUNTY SISTERS
Bobbi welcomes us all Do you all remember SWSG has a "sister" Saturday group that meets the first Saturday of each month in Loomis?
