Crackle weave is Swedish in origin and very versatile. In this presentation, Susan Kesler Simpson, will show you the threading and treadling blocks associated with crackle weave and how to create crackle weave. You will see examples of classic crackle but also see projects which show weaving crackle as lace, Italian manner just to name two options. This is a great idea for those who like to put on long warps.  Many of the projects fit easily into a modern setting.
