Due to changing COVID 19 retractions, programs and workshops are currently varying between zoom and in-person presentations. Please check each event for specifics. 

February 28 & March 4, 2023 - Zoom

Instructor : Jannie Taylor

Topic: Designing Blocks with Weaving Software

Feb 28 - 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

March 4- 9:30 a.m. -11:00 a.m,

Jannie Taylor will instruct participants via Zoom to use weaving software to create block designs that can be woven on your looms. Two, one and a half hour mini workshops are scheduled to help you learn how to design blocks with weaving software. The first workshop will introduce you to designing blocks with your software tool followed by a follow up workshop to help you take your design into a draft you can take to the loom. Participants must have introductory level of experience with weaving software. Workshop fee: $25, maximum number of participants 20. Instructor may require a materials fee

March 28, 2023 - Zoom

Instructor : Sarah Jackson

Topic: Designing with Color

Zoom workshop following the meeting from 1 to 3 p.m. Details will be provided in the February newsletter.

April 25 & 26, 2023 - In person

Instructor : Linda Hartshorn

Topic: The Natural Way to Get the Blues

This will be a one-and-a-half-day workshop at the Northminster Presbyterian Church. It will begin in the afternoon following the Guild meeting and conclude the following day. Linda will guide participants through the process of dyeing indigo with organic dyes. Workshop fee: $115, maximum participants 12. Materials fee will be announced closer to the workshop date.
