Sharlet Elms is a long-time self-taught weaver who mentors the Hangtown Fibers Guild Weaver’s Study group and teaches weaving at Rumpelstiltskin's in Sacramento. She also teaches private weaving students and workshops for guilds. Professionally she is a microbiologist and still does some teaching for the state after retiring from supervising the Placer County Public Health Laboratory. She currently resides in the foothills with her beloved boxers, Milo and Willow and too many looms to count!
