Joanne will talk and share photos about Swedish weaving techniques and her many trips to Sweden where she was able to attend weaving classes at Sweden’s premier craft school, Sätergläntan and attend the annual VAV conferences.

About
Joanne earned her master's degree in Textile Design from the University of Minnesota. She earned her
master’s degree in Textile Design from the University of Minnesota and taught weaving at both the University of Montana and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Joanne lives in Montana where she launched Glimakra USA, a business importing Swedish weaving equipment.
