Workshop: Swedish Art Weaves with Joanne Hall

This two-day workshop requires a 4 loom with a weaving width of 12 inches. Small table or floor looms are preferred as we will be trying to seat up to 16 participants in this class. Joanne will provide the wool materials used in the project. Participants will be provided instructions for warp materials and tie up at registration.

You will weave a sampler with 5 Swedish techniques in the sampler. The weaving techniques include krabba, halv krabba, dukagang, rolakan tapestry and monksbelt. The sampler can be made into a purse, bench bag for your loom or zip bag following the workshop.

Participants will need to provide their own 4 shaft table loom with a 10 dent reed (10 EPI) for this workshop. Looms will need to be pre-warped by participant before the workshop.

If you do not have your own 4 loom, the guild has some looms available to borrow from the equipment library. The venue's address will be on your ticket.
