COOL WEATHER BLOWS IN COOL PROJECTS

Is it the weather or the approaching holidays that has everyone working on a myriad of great projects? The SWSG Weavers Study Group met and shared some of their awe inspiring work. Some of the weavers had attended the Sharlet Elms workshop and displayed the samples they had completed.

Some of the projects were from our "poker-hand" challenge: Linda R explained how she had worked her poker-hand on this little pin loom:

Kristina's textured shawl. Barbs silk hand-dyed .................shawl and TIES!!!

Did you read your monthly guild Newsletter and notice we have a new mill in the area.

Meredith Cherry has opened a mill near Grass Valley. Check our her ad in our Newsletter. She also has a wonderful website: sirensongfleeceworks.com

Finally: we all get busy the week of Thanksgiving, but dont forget to log on and watch our ZOOM presentation on CRACKLE, Tuesday, November 25 at 10 am. The presenter is Susan Kesler Simpson and I am looking forward to hearing her talk about this practical and flexible weave. If you cant watch at the exact time, it will be recorded for you to check out at your leisure. We dont have a guild program in December but many of our smaller groups get together so hopefully I'll see most of you around. Happy WEAVING through the holidays

I couldnt resist adding this picture from SirenSong Fleece: it is Apollo & his sheep. Too cute!!
