FUN AT THE WILD WEST ALPACA SHOW

The Wild West Alpaca Show was this past weekend and some of us went out to CalExpo to enjoy it and experience the fun of alpacas. We brought our spinning wheels to demonstrate - but most of the time we couldn't resist walking around seeing the show, visiting with friends and making new ones. There was such a variety of alpacas that I couldn't stop taking pictures. Here are some of the cuties I met:

It was fun seeing folks get their animals ready for judging, watching the judging and seeing

the ribbons.

There were all kinds of cool signs telling you what you need to know:

Maureen M was there spinning and visiting, a few items for sale, and displays from the guild.

So it was a day full of fun sights and sounds and not even too many smells: alpacas must be very clean.
